Feature film
written by Maya Fink
Bonnie is alone in the world for the first time in her life. But her past life might be harder to shake off than she thinks…
EXT: PARK BENCH – MOMENTS LATER
BONNIE sits on the park bench clutching the rum in her hand. She looks at the moon light shining on the grass. Her jacket collar pulled up to her ears, her sunglasses on. She sits quietly, meditavely.
FLASHBACK
A kiss between two people, a hand going up a skirt. A laugh
She’s back on she bench as she looks at the grass and takes another sip of the rum, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand.
FLASHBACK – A head in between a womans leg, eating her out. A moan. Two feet; a man and woman’s, coil together.
She’s back on the bench but not back in reality yet. A small tear rolls down BONNIE’s face from underneath her sunglasses.
FLASHBACK – Its CLYDE and BONNIE lying together in bed. She’s stroking his face with her hand. He stares into her eyes lovingly. She smiles, he smiles. He closes his eyes as her fingers pass over his nose. Suddenly a disturbing image of a blonde woman appears in her imagination. A gun. Someone eles tits. CLYDE’s head in between some other woman’s legs. A gun firing.
BONNIE begins to tear up. She grabs a large swig from the bottle, swallowing it without an issue. She hears someone approaching the bench from the side. She doesn’t even twitch.
BONNIE
Hey Bub.
BUB sits down next to her on the bench. He pulls out his own bottle, but his is inside a paper bag. He takes a drink.
BUB
You good kid?
BONNIE nods.
